PerfittSize Goes Live with Mizuno in Australia and New Zealand

PerfittSize is now live with Mizuno in Australia and New Zealand.

In November 2026, Mizuno Australia launched PerfittSize within its online footwear shopping experience, bringing AI-powered, model-specific fit guidance to shoppers across Australia and New Zealand. What began as a proven collaboration with Mizuno EMEA has now become a cross-regional rollout—built on measured results, local validation, and close cooperation between teams in several countries.

For customers, the goal is simple: make it easier and more convenient to discover Mizuno footwear and choose a size with greater confidence.

How an EMEA success became a new regional launch

The Australia and New Zealand launch was not a standalone deployment. It grew through a series of internal introductions, evidence-sharing sessions, and hands-on discussions about what would work best for each market.

  • December 2025 — The first global introduction. During a Mizuno internal global meeting, the Mizuno EMEA team introduced PerfittSize and shared how the solution was being used in its markets.

  • Late May 2026 — Sharing the EMEA results in Osaka. At another Mizuno global meeting in Osaka, members of the Perfitt team presented the Mizuno EMEA implementation and its results directly to colleagues from Mizuno's international organization.

  • June–October 2026 — Regional evaluation and implementation discussions. Perfitt worked with Mizuno Australia and Mizuno USA teams on potential applications, local requirements, and implementation considerations. Australia moved forward toward deployment.

  • November 2026 — Australia and New Zealand go live. PerfittSize launched through the Mizuno Australia e-commerce experience, extending fit guidance to shoppers in both markets.

Validated EMEA results helped inform a faster decision

For the Mizuno Australia team, PerfittSize was not an untested concept. The team could consider an existing Mizuno deployment and the commercial outcomes already documented in Europe.

Perfitt's previously published Mizuno EMEA case reported:

  • 20% higher sales volume in implemented regions compared with non-implemented regions.

  • Up to 28% lower return rates across selected products and markets.

  • 25% fewer bracketing purchases—orders in which shoppers purchase multiple sizes to decide which to keep.

  • 6x growth in new monthly users during the first month after the EMEA expansion from three to six countries and approximately 100 to 400 SKUs.

These are results from the defined Mizuno EMEA rollout and comparison periods, not performance claims for the new Australia and New Zealand launch. They gave regional decision-makers tangible evidence to evaluate alongside goals such as purchase conversion, return reduction, and fewer size-related customer-service inquiries.

Global knowledge, locally adapted execution

Expanding a fit solution across borders requires more than replicating a technical integration. Teams need to examine the local customer journey, footwear assortment, size conventions, shopping behavior, and the operational environment of each regional e-commerce business.

Throughout the process, Mizuno's Japan headquarters and colleagues across regional offices helped review findings, challenge assumptions, and consider how PerfittSize should be applied in each country. That cross-functional validation was essential to turning a proven regional solution into a practical international deployment.

The Mizuno Australia e-commerce team was particularly proactive in coordinating the installation and moving the rollout forward. Its commitment and speed helped translate the existing evidence into a live shopping experience.

Making footwear shopping easier for customers

On participating Mizuno Australia product pages, customers can encounter product-specific fit guidance and use the “Find your size virtually” experience before purchasing. Rather than relying on a size label alone, PerfittSize is designed to help shoppers make a more informed choice using foot information and product-level fit data.

We hope this makes discovering Mizuno's performance footwear easier and more comfortable for runners and everyday customers in Australia and New Zealand—and helps them spend less time worrying about the right size.

Next: turning local fit insights into better assortment decisions

The rollout also opens a longer-term opportunity. As customers begin using PerfittSize in Australia and New Zealand, local foot-size and fit-pattern data can help build a clearer picture of demand in these markets.

Perfitt plans to support the Mizuno Australia team with appropriately aggregated fit insights, subject to relevant privacy and data-governance requirements. Over time, such insights can inform seasonal product planning, model-level size assortments, and buying decisions—helping bridge the gap between the sizes shoppers need and the sizes brands prepare to sell.

This is a future collaboration priority, not a claim that those merchandising outcomes have already been achieved in Australia or New Zealand.

Thank you—and onward

This launch reflects the efforts of many people: the Mizuno EMEA team that first shared the opportunity, the colleagues at Mizuno's headquarters in Japan, teams across regional offices, the Mizuno Australia e-commerce team, and everyone at Perfitt who worked on the deployment.

Thank you for the trust, the careful validation, and the partnership.

We look forward to making PerfittSize an increasingly useful part of the Mizuno shopping experience in Australia and New Zealand. With more country deployments planned, we are excited to keep building alongside Mizuno—supporting better customer experiences and the next stage of growth for both organizations.

Perfect Fit for Everyone.
