Nike P-6000 Sizing: What Two Historical Measurements Tell Us
WHAT’S MY SIZE? · NIKE P-6000
The size label is only the beginning. Two archived Perfitt measurements offer a closer look at the P-6000—and a useful reminder to check the exact version you are buying.

Quick answer
Begin with Nike’s size chart and the guidance on your exact P-6000 product page. The current US listing checked for this article did not state a model-specific half-size adjustment. Perfitt’s two archived records are too limited to establish that the P-6000 universally runs small, large or true to size.
That still leaves a practical route to choosing: establish your chart size, then check forefoot pressure, instep comfort and heel hold in the intended socks. Do not import the Air Force 1’s half-size-down advice simply because both shoes carry a Nike logo.

What Perfitt actually measured
The archive contains these two records for style 20-NKUX177. Values are reproduced as recorded and sorted by the KR/mm label.
Label (KR/mm) | Inner length (mm) | Inner width (mm) |
|---|---|---|
230 | 230 | 86 |
280 | 276 | 94 |

At label 280, the recorded inner length is 276 mm. That does not mean every person who wears a 280 label should buy a bigger P-6000. A label, a foot measurement and an interior measurement describe different things, and this archive does not document enough method detail to turn their difference into a sizing correction.
The 50 mm gap between the two labels also leaves the middle sizes unmeasured in this batch. It would be misleading to fill in 240, 250, 260 or 270 by drawing a straight line between the records. Likewise, the 86 and 94 mm widths do not establish how a wide or narrow foot feels inside the current shoe.
Check the version before comparing sizes
The current shopping page identifies IX7928-486 in Work Blue/Anthracite/Pure Platinum. Perfitt’s records identify BV1021-101 from 2020. Treat the archive as historical P-6000 context, not a specification for today’s men’s release.
When shopping another color or a women’s version, read its own product code and size selector. A familiar model name does not establish that every version uses the same sizing labels or has unchanged interior dimensions.

Measure both feet and use the longer foot with Nike’s instructions. Nike’s chart advises choosing the larger size when a foot measurement falls between sizes. Keep that measured foot length separate from the CM size printed on a box.
Try-on checks for your foot shape
These are practical checks, not measured fit outcomes or numerical size corrections.
Average width and an everyday fit
Start with the chart size and walk indoors with both shoes laced. Check that your toes are comfortable, the ball of the foot is not compressed and your heel is stable. Compare the neighboring size if one of those checks fails.
Wide forefoot
Pay attention to sustained pressure at the sides while standing. If more length only creates heel movement, the shape may be a poor match. The two measured widths cannot tell us which current size will accommodate your forefoot.
Higher instep
Loosen the laces enough to assess whether pressure across the top is caused by tension or limited space. Persistent pressure with sensible lacing is a reason to compare another fit. There is no verified instep-height measurement in this batch.
Narrow feet or a snug fit preference
Check heel hold before moving down a size. A closer fit should still allow comfortable toes while walking. Avoid using tight laces to compensate for a shoe that moves excessively around your foot.
Thicker socks or more room
Try your intended socks from the start. Compare adjacent sizes if necessary and keep the pair that balances room with security. Do not assume that wearing the shoe longer will fix inadequate length.
Frequently asked questions
Does the P-6000 fit true to size?
The current page checked here did not provide a model-specific adjustment, and two historical measurements cannot settle a universal fit rule. Use the exact product’s chart and try-on checks.
Should I size down like I do in Air Force 1s?
Do not transfer an adjustment automatically between models. Start from the P-6000 listing and evaluate its fit separately.
Can I use the 280 record to choose a current US size?
No direct mapping is established. That record belongs to an earlier style code, and its interior dimensions are not the current men’s size chart.
Is this a wide-foot recommendation?
No. The archive has two physical width values without matched wearer outcomes. It cannot establish comfort for a particular foot shape.
Are the current shoes still available from Nike?
The US P-6000 listing displayed a price, size choices and Add to Bag when checked on November 5, 2026. Verify the selected product code and your size’s stock before purchasing.
